Hi. My Capital one auto finance account was CHATGE/CLOSED/*LOSS 7 years ago and just recently dropped off my credit report in all 3 reports. Can Capital One put it back on my report once it dropped off?
No. If it dropped off because it reached the FCRA reporting statute of 7 - 7.5 years after the Date of First Delinquency, it can no longer be reported.
Note: the max reporting statute is 7.5 years, but the bureaus typically exclude after 7.
