Well, I'd read reports of rampant success with them in getting old tradelines deleted, both here and other places by contacting their executive office. I have an old un paid charge-off from 2007 that I've emailed them and snail-mailed them about but was given the same response that they kindly decline my request..
I figured maybe is was because it was "unpaid", so I tried writing a letter to have my wife's "settled for less than full balance" from 2010 with CHASE removed by mailing them a nice letter, but received that same generic responses as I'd earler received.
I wonder if just way too many people from here have been hammering them with letters and they've changed their policy to reject them all.
