has anyone recently had their collection recalled back from a collection agency. if so what happened next? Comcast called mine back the CA no longer has it. so the collection was removed from my credit reports. just wondering what is going on with comcast. The CA was CMI.

I haven't had Comcast or CMI issues, but I've had CAs report only to delete after giving up. They'd delete and either sell the debt directly to another CA or delete and give it back to the OC who then sells it to another CA. If they just deleted, and you agree with the debt, it might be worth PIF before a new CA picks it up.

Thanks llecs. I'm contacting someone at comcast in the city I had the services and trying to see what happened. I'll pay the 437.00 I just hate to when I paid my last bill and returned the equipment but hey life's not fair.

comcast is now using robinson reagan collection agency. has anyone heard of them. i googled them they have an "F" rating with the BBB. i had to contact comcast to find out who now had my collection account. i have not had any contact with robinson reagan collection to collect on this debt and comcast said it is already reporting on my credit report and i informed them that it wasn't reporting. just wanna know has anyone heard of them.
