CSC last activity?

I just received a CSC report regarding a dispute. I had a school "statement", not a student loan that I paid a few years ago. I was a student in 1998, I think I paid it in 2006. It was for a lump sum...$895...Anyway, CSC has this complicated reporting key guide...reporting it as I 1 (current Installment)reporting in 2002 5 times 120-149 days late, in 2003 1 time 120-149 days late, in 2004, 4 times 120-149 days late, in 2005 7 times 120-149 days late, 5 times 180+ days late, in 2006 2 times 180+ days late, then I paid it so reporting from then to now current...

Their note back is:"Adverse accounts that have been paid in full will automatically be deleted seven years from the date of last activity."

I thought it was from date of first delinquency, which would have been in 1998...Ex and TU have removed this, I am having trouble with EQ because I have to deal with CSc...when I contacted the school, they said I had to dispute it CRA....!

CSC/EQ uses DOLA instead of DOFD.

However, the date that is to be reported in the DOLA field is the same date that others would report in the DOFD field.

Did you dispute as obsolete or what?

I would dispute as incorrect FCRA Compliance Date.

Do you have any copies of your report showing the correct date or did it ever?

date was opened 07/1998
(no date was closed)

Under DFD/DLA
Lst Pay Date
03/2006
(no amount)

I disputed this as old...I signed up for a class in 1998, withdrew late, and was supposed to pay a portion as a result, I did not have a student loan...When I called NIU business office, they were not too helpful, they probably don't have much in the way of a record anymore since it is 10 years old...
