Can anyone help me?

My husband and I are trying to buy our first home with no success. We do not have much credit and what little credit we do have is no good at all. We have one line of credit that is open and can be paid down quickly. We tried to get a secured credit and was denied. I am at a lost and do not know where to go from here.

We need to find out what's holding your credit down.  What baddies do you have?  You mention one positive, but what can be done about the negative.  Give us an idea of what's going on with your CRs and we will see what we can do.

    Start with pulling your FREE CR's from (ACR) annualcreditreport.com . they tend to have more info on them, then ones from a 3rd   party.   The CR's from ACR, come directly from each of the CRA's. You can pull 1 Free CR from TU,EQ and EX every 12 months.

   Save your money and Don't Buy the Scores, they are what we call FAKO's.
