I'm desparate to get this "dispute" off my record. I'm referring to how I sent 2 goodwill letter's to a credit issuer, admitting that it was my fault I missed payments years ago, but asked if they'd remove them. They said they couldn;t and that all the info was accurate.
The thing is, they went to Experian and also Equifax an now it says "I disputed info on the late payments; decision reached, customer disagrees". This makes me look bad. I NEVER disputed anything. I just asked for goodwill.
I want to call them and explain the situation, because people on here and Reddit said "don't dispute the inaccurate info" on the site for some reason.
