Cap1 reporting incorrectly. How bad is this??

About 1 month ago I was approved for a new Capital One Platinum Card with a limit of $1,000. I activated the card and used it to charge $21.93 just to make sure it was working. A few days later I paid the $21.93 online and now in the Capital One app it says my balance is zero with a $1,000 limit.

So I noticed on credit wise this morning that it is reporting it as a closed account with the remark, closed by consumer.

I logged on to Capital One and it still shows it active with a $1,000 limit and a $0 balance. So what the heck is going on? Do I need to call Capital One and make sure the card is still okay? I did this to help my credit and now I don't know if this is going to hurt me???

Did you by any chance request a new card for fraud or unauthorized charges?

Also, it probabaly won't hurt you but it might be a good idea to call them.

Call them.  They process tens of thousands of transactions monthly.

It may be a simply administrative foulup.
