Yesterday evening I sent an e-mail to the Chairman and CEO of Capital One, Richard Fairbank. Not expecting a response at all, to my surprise I woke up to a voicemail this afternoon from someone at the Cap1 Executive offices. I called the guy back. He told me he had recieved my correspondence to Mr. Fairbank. He told me ONCE AGAIN that all information on my credit report was reporting correctly and that they were not allowed to delete corrected information. But he did tell me that if I needed a reference to buy a house or something he would be more than willing to speak to whoever I needed him to. So all in all, it looks like this will remain on my CR for another 2 yrs...
