CapitalOne Goodwill phone call to me - they will not delete

So I have written goodwill letters to CapOne to ask for some deletions.  Typically I have written the CEO and others.

Today they called me (this has happened once before) to tell me that they passed my 'case' over to the department that evaluates such requests, and that mine was declined due to the FRCA.  The woman was very nice, and I suggested that maybe they could delete just one of the lates (as opposed to all), but she said if they sent it back, it would get the same response.

Has anyone else gotten this kind of call?  It was a nice courtesy, but kinda pointless, you know?  I was hoping they would call to tell me yes.  Calling to tell you no is like subbing salt in the wound, especially with no real recourse.

Sure. A very nice lady from the WF Executive Office patiently explained to me why I did not qualify for GW relief.

I reshaped my GW letters and a few mailings later my late was removed.

If you want it badly enough, keep at it. Good luck. Smiley Wink
