Chase GW

I have 2 old negative accts with Chase. One acct has 2 30 day lates ( due to fall off in jun & oct of 2014). The other is a major derog - a CO that wont fall off until early 2016. I've been concentrating on trying to get the CO acct deleted via GW but am not having any luck. Would it help me in anyway to try to get the 230day late acct deleted brfore trying yet again to get a GW deletion of the CO? We will be applying for a mortgage some time in the next year. My FICo EQ was 688 on 3/17/13 . I think i can get it over 700 just by paying closer attention to what cc limits I let post but if I can get the CO gone, I feel fairly good about my chances of getting a 760+.
Starting FICO 667 (5/2012) EQ
672 (7/2012) EQ. 681 (8/1/12) EQ
Current FICO 682 (10/13/12) EQ; 718 (10/13/12) TU
Goal: 760+ but 700-720 by jan 2013

Re: Chase GW

Is the CO paid?

Those lates are really having no impact on your score now.  Single 30 day lates normally stop impacting your score after 2 years.

Re: Chase GW

The CO was paid- settled for less than full amount. I paid something like $250 on a $750 bill. That was before I knew about these boards & pfd.

Re: Chase GW

Btw, I know those 2 old 30 day lates aren't really impacting my score. I was just kind of hoping that having no other negative accts with them would help convince them to extend me some GW.

Re: Chase GW

I sent an email to the Chase CEO but haven't gotten a response yet.  Does anyone who has had success going that route have contact info for the rep who contacted you after you sent the email?  I'd appreciate advice about next steps, too, for if they don't respond to my CEO email...TIA.

Re: Chase GW

Did you get a response yet?

I set a GW on 4/5/13 and received a denial on 4/28 for the typical we are required to report accurate information blah blah blah. Good thing I sent another GW letter to their auto finance CEO this past week. It's just one 30+ late in march due to a timing issue in paying off my loan!!

I'll keep sending letters until some nice person says yes!!
