the bank has to push an update to chex, just like any other credit report, how long it takes after that, I'm not sure anybody knows.
if it's reporting inaccurately, you do have the right to dispute it and provide proof of the balance or ask the creditor to remove their reporting now that it's paid and you're really sorry and you won't ever do it again
