Question: If one of the credit bureaus deletes a collection account will the other two follow suit?
I ask because I have 3 total different collection agencies reporting on each of the credit bureaus.. They were all previously reporting on all bureaus but I sent a letter of dispute. Any reccomendations?
Collection A and B are reporting on TransUnion (Deleted C)
Collections C is reporting on Equifax (Deleted A and B)
Collections A and C are reporting on Experian. (Deleted B)

These are all accounts that have good reason why they should not be reporting. Would some credit bureau take it off, but another not???

Edit: I merged this question, which was posted over on General Credit Issues, with this thread, since it is the same. -- sidewinder
Generally, CRA don't communicate with another one about accounts/disputes.
However, in some cases they do.
As llecs asked, are these your accounts and what was the basis of the dispute?
The answer to those will help answer your question.

This is what it looks like:
Collection A and B are reporting on TransUnion (Deleted C)
Collections C is reporting on Equifax (Deleted A and B)
Collections A and C are reporting on Experian. (Deleted B)
Collection A should have never been reported it was in regards to cable box that was turned in. Comcast was scheduled to pick it up, but they didnt. I had to turn in after I moved.
2 of three came off.
Collection B was an account that I paid on first notice but still was reported. Situations came up where I unexpectly moved due to some bad circumstances. I never used the phone as I moved out the day I moved in....
1of 3 came off.
Collection C was forgiven by original provider of account. They sent in letters to each of the bureaus, as well as myself.

Has the time for the dispute completely passed? Or is it still within the 30-45 day time period, or the CRA has already closed the dispute?
Who is reporting, the OC or a CA?
Have you contacted the OC and do they agree it shouldn't be there?
