For the collections that I have: (5) Experian, (4) Equifax, (4) Transunion, do I have to call each reporting agency to dispute or ask for goodwill removals? Is it better to call the original creditor?
What is the best option for getting my collections, open and closed, removed from my account?
One of the collections that is reporting to each agency was a medical deal and shouldn't be reporting in my name. I called EQ to dispute, but haven't yet called the others.
The one collection that is reporting to experian only, why would it report to Experian but not the other agencies?

Businesses are also customers of the CRAs. They don't have to have relationships with them at all, let alone all 3. Consider that a blessing for a negative.
You didn't really give any information about the collection accounts, only that some are open and some are closed.
Only dispute inaccurate information, and this works best when you have the contradicting correct information. Do not assume that all incorrect information disputed results in a delete. Often times the information is just updated to the accurate information.
Once you post more information about the accounts, we can help you better.

The only collection that I had means to dispute fell off my credit report yesterday after having disputed it with all three credit reporting agencies.
Meaning I have left on my credit report:

Well, since they are all paid and closed, you don't have any leverage to offer payment for deletion.
You can attempt writing good will letters to these CAs asking them if they will delete the trade lines so you can move forward with your financial future.
Write them once a month or once every few months. Hopefully it will fall into the hands of someone who is sympathetic.
Good luck!
Yeah, I know I messed up in that reguard. I should have read the forums before I paid the collections so I would have known to negotiate for the deletion of them.
Experian just emailed me and told me that they have deleted the number 1. collection I listed so I'm down to 3 collections, all the same with all three reporting agencies. I am going to try goodwilling. Hoping for the best. When sending goodwill letters, do I send to credit reporting agencies or the original creditors?
The "collection removal process" from the perspective of the CRAs is that they have a clear policy that accurate collections not be deleted based on your having paid the debt.
The CRAs are in business to sell credit histories of consumers, and deletion of otherwise accurate information results in incomplete histories, and thus reduces their perceived value of their product. It is not in their business interest.
To that end, the uniform CRA reporting manual and reporting agreements incorporate the clear policy that debt collectors should not delete their reported collections based on the consumer having paid the debt.
Requests for GW deletions go to the debt collector, not the CRA, and effectively ask that the debt collector ignore their credit reporting agreements with the CRAs.
Thus, the reluctance on the part of most debt collectors to put any GW/PFD promises in writing.

Ah, this makes sense. I guess from this point forward then I will be contacting collection agencies rather than the reporting agencies to get collections removed.
Aside from that, I have 1 credit card from Discover that got charged off. I called discover to pay but they said my debt had been sold to a debt collector. They forwarded me to the debt collectors office and I paid the debt. It has never reported as a collection on my credit reports. When I look up revolving accounts, it shows as a closed account that got charged off. Is there posibility of deletion of that by Discover? If not, how long will it stay on my reports?

7.5 years from the dofd, but most fall off around 7 years, you can request early exclusion a couple of months in advance. The only way it would come off earlier is with good will requests falling into sympathetic hands.
