Re: Credit Building Advice - Accounts Attached

You owe TMobile $2,200?

My suggestions:

Quit opening accounts especially pred lenders and low limits.

Do not pay anyone charged off right now that has not filed a lawsuit.

Pay 3x your minimum payment on any current credit card.

Save the rest in cash.  SAVE IT, not spend it.

Let the charge offs fall off your credit report.

I do not think your credit will get good enough to get a good credit card or loan before all your charge offs are gone whether you pay them or not.

Let sleeping dogs lie.

If one files a lawsuit, contact them immediately before your court appointment.  You can then use your saved cash to negotiate a settlement for lower balance.  Tell them you MIGHT be able to borrow some money from family, but you are probably going to have to declare BK.

If you decide to pay any charge offs, pay the NEWEST ONES as it will take longer for them to fall off your report.

Rebuild started in 2014  -  $100k unsecured credit in 2017  -  $500k unsecured credit in 2024.

DON'T WORK FOR CREDIT CARDS ... MAKE CREDIT CARDS WORK FOR YOU!

Do you have money to settle the ERC collections? If you do and WANT your credit to improve, I personally would negotiate to get those to report at $0.

Then the auto loan get that balance down. It doesn’t look like any of those accounts will be falling off soon. No one wants to have bad credit for until 2020-2022?
