I have a cap 1 secured card and this what has worked for me. Before i started coming on the forums, daily, i had the card pretty much maxed out. One cedit simulator said to get to 1% utl for optimal increase and it worked for me, i had it at 93%. I had to time it perfectly so that I wasnt w/o that money too long and could use it again. My payment is the 6th and cycle ends on 9th. My card also reports on the 10, so when i check my cr it is reflective. I saw a 42 point increase.
