Credit Score Boost (or lose)

I need serious credit score help, I have been rebuilding my credit for about a year now, credit score hoes up and down but at the end of the day, the score is somewhat the same (or few points below) to when I started. I’ve been working with Lexington Law this whole time and have cleared several damaging items. But when I ask for advice on what to do to boost the score, they always have the safe answer that they can’t give any advice... i need serious help, someone who can give me advice to increase the score.
Is very frustrating that, even though I’ve been making the right choices, the score doesn’t seem to go on the right direction; just on the last two months I lost 27 points on equifax (14 in January and 13 today) for paying down one credit card!!! I haven’t had late payments or any negative items added this whole time but still don’t seem to improve... please help!!!

Re: Credit Score Boost (or lose)

The people who can help you best are in the Rebuilding forum.  Would you like me to ask a moderator to move this discussion thread there?

Re: Credit Score Boost (or lose)

The folks who do read your thread will help you best if you give them some more information.  Here is the stuff that is most important:

List all your cards.  Do it like this:

Card 1.  Balance = ____  Credit Limit = ____

Card 2.  Balance = ____  Credit Limit = ____

Card 3.  Balance = ____  Credit Limit = ____

etc.

What matters is the balance as it appears on your report.  Also in this section list any revolving accounts that might not strike you as credit cards: store cards, charge cards, LOCs, etc.  Loans are not revolving.  If a card is closed but still has a balance, be sure to list it here.  If it is closed with a balance of $0, no need to list it.

List all your "derogs".  That's stuff like late payments, collections, charge-offs, bankruptcies, liens, public records, judgments, etc.  List each derog and the date that it happened.  If it is a collection, be sure to include the amount of the collection.  If multiple derogs are all related to the same account, indicate that as well.

Tell us whether you have any special credit needs in the next few years.  If you have them, indicate what they are and when they might happen.  Example: want to buy a car in June 2018.

Re: Credit Score Boost (or lose)

Thank you,
I have 3 credit cards;

Capital one: credit limit $750 with $0 balance
Credit one: credit limit $550 with $0 balance
Indigo: Credit limit $300 with $0 balance

I use the cards but pay them off to $0 before cut date.

No other revolving accounts, just 2 car loans, one is a “new loan” from January 2017 (never late) and another one with a few late payments but paid on time since January 2017.

I have one charge off for $415 from American Express, I just paid it last week. Waiting for it to report as cero balance.

Have one collection for $30 on September but paid immediately (this company was sold and couldn’t make that last payment for months, then they went back on business and sent me on collection, even though i tried to pay on time but they were not able to take payment!)

I have an account with several late payments for an auto loan. I sold that car in January 2017 and paid of the loan.

Please help! I’m trying to buy a house in June 1st, I have about 3 months to increase my score for this!!!
