Thanks for the reply! So the update is I went to another local credit union and they got me a 5k card no questions asked. At least very little. Very happy with them. I'm transferring all my finances over to them.
My home Credit Union still refuses to increase my limit any more than 300. The Lon officer now says she needs to take the application to the loan committee which isn't until Wednesday. The whole thing feels completely ridiculous and unnecessary for a CLI. I've decided I won't close the account but I definitely won't be using them any more.
