i have a charge off with FP for $678 and settled for $542 on wed.
didnt know i should have requested PFD
will it effect me since i didnt PIF
now what are my options?

If they didn't agree to delete, it will probably post as "paid" or "paid - settled for less". It doesn't affect your score either way, though. It may affect your util %.
If they don't delete...just wait and see if it updates to "paid" or deletes...but if they don't delete, all you can do is just start GWing them.
I agree, your best bet is to start the GW process once it reports as a paid/settled account that was CO'd.
I think it depends on the company. I was quick to pay one of my Afni's and didn't talk about PFD's but guess what, a week after I paid it, I disputed it with the CR and poof it went away. I think maybe they don't keep records after they are paid off? idk I am no expert, but my credit is clearing and it was bad....real bad!!!!!

That is possible with some CA's.

Yeah, AFNI is very good about removing paid collections. Other CAs not so much......
Did you pay it Wed? Or you agreed on a price? If you haven't paid, then agree to pay a bit more if they agree to delete.
