DOFD Question

DOFD was 10/2006 and CO was 12/2006 but a payment was made to the original creditor 8/10/2007.

When that payment was made, did the clock restart?

Re: DOFD Question

Once an account is CO'd a payment is not going to change that.  It has already been written off as a bad debt.  The DoFD would remain 10/2006.

If you are talking about restarting the suing SOL in your state, it could have.  Look up your state statues.
