Has anyone had luck getting a company to remove the "partial payment agreement" notation removed from the account after paying it off completely and closing it? I have an account with Fingerhut that has such a notation, and it is impacting my score significantly. I fear that since the account was never late, it may even be on my report for 10 years, rather than 7 because FICO does not like the notation, but the credit bureaus do not mark it as negative on my reports.
