Debt verification but paperwork has wrong social security

Hi everyone, newbie here trying to clean up a HORRIBLE credit report. I disputed a collection account a few months ago and it remained on my credit report. I received the paperwork in the mail from the collection agency with my name but the last four digits of the social are not mine.Can I have this removed based on this issue?

Are you asserting that the debt is factually not yours, or is the inaccurate SSN a typo or other error?

Collections can be removed if there is not debt in fact, but simple inaccuracy of reported information is not basis for deletion of the collection.
