Argh. I’m so mad. I applied for and was approved for the program a year or so ago when the iPhone XS came out. The only reason I financed through Apple was to have annual upgrades.
I didn’t read the fine print so wasn’t happy to see they require a HP every time you upgrade... because it’s basically just another loan application. But I sucked it up and took the HP and was declined. My credit score is 50 points higher on Equifax than it was a year ago... absolutely nothing bad added. But somehow I was approved a year ago and declined now.
And meanwhile I’m going to have to switch over to my carrier for financing, all with a new HP. I haven’t been declined in so long... it brought up all my old rebuilding pain.
