Discover; Has anyone gotten their missed payment removed recently?

My Discover card payment was due on 06/02/24, I paid it on 06/07/2024. 

First missed payment, and I have had Discover for 6 years since July 2017. 

Freaking out and having an internal meltdown, but I am going to try GW lettering and the GST technique. 

I heard that there's been an oversaturation of GW letters being sent recently, so the chances of success are at an all-time low. Has anyone achieved success recently for Discover card?

Additionally, wondering if anyone has any helpful email addresses + physical, that was successful for them, so that I could try it myself.

So according to what you're saying, your payment was 5 days late. While the payment would be late in their view, and subject to incur a late fee, that's not something that will be reported on your credit reports. If your payment was due on 5/2/24, well then that would be a different story.

No need for goodwill letters. I'd suggest you call them and politely mention your goof up as well as your otherwise stellar payment history and ask them to kindly waive any late fees as a courtesy.

Yeah, for 5 days late they will probably charge a late fee and possibly move you to a penalty interest rate, but lates aren't reported to the CBs until they are at least 30 days overdue.
