Hi- I have an auto loan through DCU that is set to be paid off in the next few months. About 5 years ago I defaulted on a credit card with DCU and they haven't been very aggressive about collections. I called them and asked if the accounts would be cross-collateralized, the person I spoke with had clearly never heard of the term and put me on a brief hold. She came back on and said they wouldn't be, but I am not confident she knew what she was talking about. Does anyone else have experience with DCU? I know every CU is different.
