It would help if you were a little more specific. First, are you in the US? I know that in the UK, there is Marston Holdings, which is a group of enforcement agents that help to enforce county court judgments when one is sued over a debt. Don't think you're talking about them but wanted to make sure.
When you say you had a debt you didn't pay, a little more info might help us to pinpoint just who you're talking about.
