Re: EARLY EXCLUSION!!!! (Yes I am yelling)

I could not be happier hearing this and I am thrilled for your improvements - a 225+ point gain is phenomenal. Congrats on a huge improvement in your scores and again, thank you so much for confirming that I should be able to clear these entries so soon Smiley Happy

I had a horrible year 2014, everything went into chargeoff or collection status. I paid everything off gradually, last year was the last one. I am in New York so paid collections and chargeoffs come off in 5 years. I heard that early exclusion on Transunion can be done at 6 months, so I disputed 14 accounts online. THEY DELETED 11!!!! My Transunion score jumped 60 points!!! I am over the moon!!

These boards rock!!

First things first, Congrats!

Second thing, what???? it is only 5 years if you live in NY?  Does this mean I can move there then get stuff removed and move back to where I a now lol

I have been working with TU and the others.  TU removed stuff right away but the other two are taking longer.  I have some disputes out with them right now that I am waiting to hear back on.

Right. I had a similar thought. It seems more people would be moving to NY now than away.

Thinking aloud: I've got family in NY; what if when my current lease is up I went to visit for a few weeks or longer? Wouldn't that make me a resident of NY (or does one need to inhabit a certain length of time)? Interesting.

I don’t know about the details of it. At the very least I would think you’d need a primary address here for at least a certain timeframe, if not having to have lived here when the debt was incurred.

I can promise though, there are far more things that make one lean away from living here than not.
