Re: EOS-CCA Deleted

Can I add myself to the queue? I have an AT&T account from 2010 and EOS CCA is reporting a collection balance of $3800. Can anyone please offer advice on how to get this removed. Living in California so I believe I'm still within SOL (8mo left). OC is not reporting this debt on my credit report.

Re: EOS-CCA Deleted

I have one account in EOS-CCA and I have offered them a PFD in full, but I am getting no response at all.

If Scott or anybody out there has anything that can help me with this collections account, I would appreciate it.   I don't mind giving them money, but I need it to stop eating away at my CR.

I appreciate any help you all have to offer. Thank you.

Re: EOS-CCA Deleted

Hi All,

I recently pulled my credit report to find this company reporting a collection on me for At&t as well. That stated it was opened in 2012 which is false information. I disputed with the credit bureau and of course nothing came of it since they do not really verify anything. I sent a debt validation letter and it was ignored. Finally in frustration I contacted the consumer finance protection bureau as well as the BBB and submitted a complaint. In MA we have some pretty strong conumer protection laws and I requested documentation that the account was mine or deletion from the CRA. They contacted me through both agenices to say they requested it be deleted.

Thank goodness for other avenues since the CRA's could care less whether or not a debt even belongs to you really.

When you dispute through myfico with Experian online the address they are reporting from will be on there.
