Early deletion of 5 old CC accounts whoop whoop!

Literally just got off the phone with Transunion. Asked if he could remove all my old CC accts on my acct due for deletion this spring. 3 minute phone call. Gave him the account numbers and he said "ok, you will receive a new credit report in the mail with the canceled accounts in 5-7 days" sweet! No more lates on my TU acct!! Never thought it would be so easy.

Did all 5 accounts show late payments?

I think I would have let them hang around so I could get the AAoA benefit for the next 3 years.  Unless, of course, I really needed to apply for something before spring.

Yes charge offs/collections on all accounts. They left the ones that were in good standing & closed

I haven't had any late payments in 58 months. I am trying to get everything in order to get a mortgage in the next 6 months or so.

Fantastic! I am curious what the furthest out they have deleted is. Typically I hear about 1 or 2 months out, but this is probably the earliest one I have heard.

Usually about 6 months out, but in the case of my parents they deleted an item 9 months out.
