Equifax: 105 point gain - Foreclosure remark removed / Rebuild complete

I woke up this morning and checked CK for any changes to my reports and I noticed a 50 point gain on EQ due to the "Foreclosure" remark being removed.

So I logged in to Experian, pulled my 3B,  and noticed a 105 point increase on EQ. My jaw is still sore from hitting the floor so hard.

I also checked the BofA account, and as you can see below the comments were indeed removed.

Not only was I expecting the 1 month EE from EQ in August, I was also expecting the account to fall off completely as it did in my EX post Experian: Foreclosure EE - 67 point gain!!! last month. Now I'm left wishing the same remark removal happened on my EX report(be careful what you wish for LOL).

So now I have a positive account thats 19yrs - 9mos old. However, the downside to this is that the account will fall off come September 2022. I'm just hoping that by then my AAOA/AAOA will have increased enough to absorb some of the decrease from the old account dropping off.

Finally, I guess this marks the completion or at least the final stage of my rebuild since all of my scores are now in the "Very Good" category. I will still work to achieve my 800+ goal, but for practical purposes I'm no longer recovering from my credit trauma of the past.

Oh, and I'm a full member of the 700 club now.  Smiley Happy

@800FicoGoal,

That is awesome. I know you're stoked!!

I just wrong a long post last week  about the impact of those comments on credit scores. I didn't realize they had any impact on score until I had some recently changed and experienced a -62 decrease. Afterward I did alot of research and learned that certain comments are considered derogatory and impact score like anything related to Foreclosure. So your case is just another example of this to be true.

Here's my post if anyone is interested...other good info in there too.
