First Delinquency Dates and Settlement Offers?

Hello All,

I have 7 collections, negative items on my report that have 'Date of First Delinquency' dates as follows:

Holloway Credit Solutions - DPM Doctor

DOFD - 03/2006 and has scheduled to be on till 12/2012

$75

AFNI - AT&T/Bellsouth

DOFD - 07/2006 and has scheduled to be on till 04/2013

$108

Northeast Legal Group - CVS

DOFD - 07/2008 and has no scheduled date/Equifax

$279

Trident Assest Management - Columbia House

DOFD - n/a but I estimate before 2005, has scheduled to be on till 11/2015

$44

Credit Management LP - Charter Communications

DOFD - 10/2010 and has scheduled to be on till 04/2012

$307

Credit Protection Association - Charter Communications

DOFD - 08/2008 and has scheduled to be on till 03/2013

$293

Credit Protection Association - Charter Communications

DOFD - 08/2008 and has scheduled to be on till 04/2013

$125

I currently have PFD letters wrote up for all 7 totaling roughly $675 which is what I can afford to pay currently, but learned more about credit repairing and noticed the DOFD dates are important. I live in Alabama where it states the SOL is 6 years. Does this apply to credit bureau reporting? Or simply collection of debt?

Also if I am within dates, what is a solid settlement offer amount for PFD letters on the accts listed above? I did learn that these debts are purchased for pennies on dollar. Should I bother to offer less than balance owed? Or simply PIF if affordable?

Please help, as I am attempting to clear these up asap. Thanks!
