GW? Americredit and First Premier

Hi everyone, I'm trying to get my scores up and saw a few threads about contacting lenders/banks hoping for GW to remove late notices. Has anyone ever successfully done this with Americredit or First Premier (MyPremier)? I have some lates from this year that I'm sure are killing my score. I know these are my own fault and I've been on time the last 3 months, even paying an extra $50/month to Americredit and having only about a $50 balance on the card. If there's a chance this would work, should I call, write, or both? Thanks, JS

Americredit is a bear to work with. I sent 20-30 GWs and finally got my first response saying "NO" and I will more until they either delete or I legally get called out for stalking. "NO" is not an option.  I say go for it. It only costs a stamp. You've got nothing to lose.

And First Premier is a beast also....they won't do anything...all they do is send this big packet of statments back...and tell you "NO"...
