There is no basis for requiring the OC to delete their reporting based on your satisfaction of the debt with the new owner.
The OC was required, upon their sale of the debt, to update their reporting to show a balance of $0. They are thereafter out of the picture, and would only be required to delete their reporting if it could not be verified or corrected.
Attempts to get the OC to delete are by way of good-will requests that they voluntarily delete.
That is usually difficult after they have sold the debt, as they have then taken a loss, as they dont receive a penny of any payment you ultimately make to the new owner.
Losses by a creditor are usually not conducive to their grant of good-will, but you can give it a go.....
