A dispute and a GW are two entirely different things.

Re: Good News Or Bad News

If you disputed something with the CCC then they are supposed to send the dispute to the CRAs.

Re: Good News Or Bad News

Depending on the wording of the GW it could have been thought of as a dispute.  Also I see a number of GWs winding up with dispute status.  Make sure you put the words "This is not a dispute" into the letter.

Re: Good News Or Bad News

That scenario makes zero sense to me.

If the creditor wishes to delete reporting, they simply do so.  They dont have to provide a reason to the CRA.

Asking a CRA to delete based on factors such as payment of a debt is directly contrary to the written policy of the CRAs.
