Re: Good Will Letters Going out in Tomorrow's Mail

I recieed a phone call from b of a after 9 letters in the mail that they are researching my concern and would contact me by phone again or mail. I guess that's better then a denial from the initial reciept.

Re: GW Letter UPDATE!!!

Aquinbean, what % of your overall CL did those cards you just paid off represent?

I've found that the rule of thumb tends to be for each 10% of utilization you pay down, you get about 10 points on your FICOs.

SW will alert you to score changes ONLY if you remember to re-set the target score to the current one OR you cross the target score with the change.

SW will not tell you about a deletion at all, but you may see a score bump with a list of theoretical reasons, none of which will be a deletion.

Starting Score: EQ 583 TU04 619 EX 592 (lender pull) 2010
Previous High Score: EQ 700 TU04 712 EX 726
Current Score: EQ 740 TU(Discover) 750 EX(AMEX) 747
Goal Score: 740+ all around

Re: GW Letter UPDATE!!!

I paid off 30% of my CC Debt with the cards I just paid off.  Every card was near 98% utilization.  I'm not sure that all of the cards have reported since I paid them off, since my statement dates differ between some of them.  I have my target score set at 1 point higher than the last updated score - I can't imagine that it would be going down.   Are you sure that the SW will not tell me about a deletion?  What if it is a collection deletion?
