Just wanted to share - On Sunday 10/14/2021 around 9:30 pm, I sent an email to Amex CEO Mr. Squeri seeking the removal of a single 30 day late.
He replied 30 minutes later that we would have someone in his office look into my request. The following morning someone from his office called me and ask that I give her a couple of days. She called me back on Monday 10/21/2021 and stated that the item will be removed and they sent me a later stating this.
I was shocked by the CEO reply but the quick turnaround
I got the idea from this community

I have it! They denied me several times. I'd be cautious with Amex too because they update your report when they check. Well, at least they did for me every time I asked for goodwill. So, if it's been dormant for a while and they deny your request they will update the info which will affect your credit report.
