Hey guys...
I've had this collection on my big 3 for a year now..
Back in 2007 I had become very ill with a respritory infection.. I visited the hospital, saw the doctor.. took him about 2 mins to figure out what was wrong and it was pretty much in and out. The final bill.. $380.. OUCH.
I soon after lost my job and was unable to pay that bill
It's now ressurected on my CR opened since 2010 and I need it gone!!! Luckily, I have the funds to PIF. The question is, has anyone had success doing a PFD with this company? If so, what are the steps I can take to get this taken care of asap. Should I send a letter.. should I call? Thanks everyone for the help. I love this place.

There are one of two steps you can take: 1) Mail a DV CMRRR. If they verify and you agree, then send a PFD. If they agree in writing, then pay it and they'll delete. 2) Follow the HIPAA process, which would start by completely ignoring the CA and paying the OC in full. Google "HIPAA process" for more info.
I'm partial to the DV-PFD route.
I will go the DV and possible PFD route.. thanks!
