Help removing late payments on Nelnet Student loans

I will have a look at your thread.  EDIT: I responded to your thread, and it appears based on the information that you provided that you were contractually in repayment status, and thus the late reporting is accurate.

Yes, for a maximum of 7 years from the date of first delinquency (dofd).

Until the loan is paid off, the dofd will be blank or show n/a, so you'd need to do the math yourself.

I have researched a nelnet leader and obtained their email address. im going to prepare my goodwill letter, keep my fingers crossed, and send it in. Im going to hope for the best, but expect the worst.

Not sure why you wouldn't hold onto those gw efforts until they are legally allowed to remove the late payments, but ok...

I have 2 student loans. 1 is $600, the other is $3500.

So you think I should pay them off first, then send in the GWs? I guess that'd make more sense. I can pay off the $600 one, but I hate for my age of credit to drop.

Your AAoA won't drop because the account will stay on your reports for about another 10 years.
