Help understanding when things will age off?

Good afternoon!

I have a question about aging off the report.

I have a BOA charge off. My first 30 day late was September 2013. Does this mean it should fall off the report on it's own in September 2020? Is it possible get an early exclusion sooner?

Thank you!

Re: Help understanding when things will age off?

If that late was the beginning of the end (meaning the account was never made current afterward), then yes, it’ll fall off 9/2020. You can EE six months early on TU, three months early on EX, and 30 days early on EQ (but I would just wait the 30 days in that case - EQ will screw it up).

I did make it current until another 30 day late in January 2014. Then current again. Then the final straw was April 2014 until now.

Thanks so much!

Re: Help understanding when things will age off?

Then the age-off is April 2021. Legally it can report for seven years plus 180 days but standard exclusion happens at seven years. EE guidelines mentioned above for the bureaus still hold.
