Help with Account, please--- PUHLEEZE

I have a Nissan account that is IIB.  BK was filed 10/05.  EQ has the account falling off in 10/12.  Yet the DOFD was 1/05.  It's already fallen off TU and EX.

I have a lady at Nissan trying to help and she says that they reported the same info to all 3 and it's not their fault that EQ Is reporting it wrong, that I have to take this up with EQUIFAX.

The lates are no longer reporting on my credit reports, only that the account is included in bankruptcy.  Does that in and of itself cause it to be a derogatory account that should stay until 10/05 when bk was filed?

 I'm confused bc the 30/60/90 lates are all fallen off, yet the account remains to be included as "adverse".  And I'd like it gone.

What do I do?  Thanks.

update - I just got an email from Nissan saying they updated all three credit bureaus that the DOFD is 12/2004, and that "hopefully this will resolve the issue and the account can be deleted at your request." --- Okay, so, now is TU and EX going to report it again or what? 

Will this resolve the issue and EQ will remove?  I'm so confused bc it is a BK accounty.

Anyone got the FCRA code # (ROBERT EG?) that says according to the FCRA ....the account should be deleted from the DOFD???

Have you contacted Equifax yet? My sister had a BK from 04 and all the ones that were marked IIB fell off except for her mortgage. She sent a dispute to Equifax about it and somehow it got updated  showing all good payments for 7 years ( since the BK was filed) and they removed the IIB mark. She thought they would just delete the tradeline all together since it had been over 7 years.

Thanks for your reply - Yes I have disputed this account quite a few times and Nissan continues to verify.  Nissan has the DOFD wrong on EQ, or EQ put it down wrong.  DOFD is 1/05.  Though FINALLY got thru to a real person at Nissan and she is confused and says she's calling EQ to go over every date w/ them. If she does that, saying DOFD is 1/05, will EQ delete? 

BUT my question is, should it still be reporting as IIB since the BK was filed 10/05, 10/12 is when EQ says it should be off.

Does an IIB account fall off from DOFD like everything else?  (All other BK accounts are long gone, and only EQ reporting this).

Need Help.  Please Advise.
