I apparently have "horrible veins" I went 5 times and nobody could get me, they did pay me 50.00 for my troubles, I really wanted to do it to help people and to make some extra cash.
Wish I was there. I dont miss. The trick is using a BP cuff. That backs up everything. And they will pop up.
Plasma donation is a great way to make money. I was once an assistant director of plasmapheresis center and we only used 16ga butterfly needles. Being hydrated before donation helps tremendously in being able to find a vein. So, yeah, some people are just not suited to be donors. Once a donor becomes a regular, there is a scar at the A/C that screams "stick me here". Unfortunately, over time there can be so much scaring within the vein itself that it becomes difficult to continue donating in that arm.
Yeah, I was the one who they came and got for the difficult sticks. Sometimes, it just ain't meant to be.
Also, ask about being a tetanus vaccine donor. You get a mega dose tetanus booster and then are tested a week later. If your levels are high enough, you get even more money for your time donating plasma.

They could get a part-time job at Amazon (no interview or resume required) that pays $16 per hour and has four hour shifts any time of day; another company Uline pays $18 per hour, Roundy's starts at $19.15 per hour part-time. But that debt can be knocked off in two months of part-time work if they put their mind to it, and if capable of picking up a part-time gig.
How can you get a part time job with Amazon with no resume or interview required? Please share those details. You're not talking about the Amazon Mechanical Turks are you?
I just had an interview at Rocky Rococo's earlier today and hope I get it. Mainly for the cool hat and shirt but also for this debt of course. My real ambition is to own a hotel resort one day like the Wynn in Las Vegas, NV but without a casino. Another poster wanted to know what companies that were charged off. Chase, U.S. Bank, and Barclay. Barclay is the one that issued the collections and the other two haven't.
I appreciate all the replies so far. I'm now facing another financial stresser. I have to pay at least $199 to have a data recovery company evaluate my computer's hard drive as all the data wasn't backed up entirely using the HP Recovery Manager. They quoted me a total including $649 ($199 eval. included) with the $199 being up front. I have over $92 in my Simple bank account right now and so I will have to pay the minimums to the cc bills this month and save the rest for that eval. as it contains very important data I do not want to lose.
I am serious about paying off my cc debt. I do usability tests and surveys in my spare time while looking for a job. I have $1425 a month from SSI Income which a rep payee manages for me. I do not believe I need that rep payee but it can't be changed without a court review that is coming up next January. Believe me, there are alot of things I have put off buying due to all these problems so far. Thank you for the info about the other money makers. I have put that info in a draft email to add to a formal money maker list when I have my data restored or at least when I know the results of the recovery.
I am thinking about meeting with a financial consultant from one of my local banks to look into these financial problems further and will see what she says. Thank you for all the help given so far, I really appreciate it!
@IcyCool7227 this https://ficoforums.myfico.com/t5/Personal-Finance/Do-you-need-excellent-credit-in-order-to-qualify-f... is not what happens when person is serious about resolving their debt and improving their financial situation
If you are struggling with a $2,500 debt, then you may consider entering into a credit card hardship program with Synchrony. They offer one with reduced payments and interest, where you make equal payments for 5 years, then the balance is completely paid off. They do close the card, so that's something to think about. Since you are looking for more work, this may not make sense if you plan to obtain more credit in the next few years (i.e. house, car). It can have an impact on your score, but the negative remarks are generally removed after you pay off the balance. So in 5 years (or if you pay it off sooner, that is totally possible), they will mark it as paid and closed. In order to get into one of these plans, you would have to be late making your payment on the account. You could be late less than 30 days and setup the program, so it wouldn't put a late payment on your credit report. But to me, it sounds like your credit is important to you. And $2,500 is not some insurmountable sum, soI would agree with the other posters that chugging through and making minimums on your other stuff is your best choice until you generate some more income. I would be very cautious about obtaining more credit, because if you are in this precarious of a financial situation, the temptation and possibility of running up another debt you can't pay down is very easy.

^^^ well said. I also read the other threads and all advice given was basically blown over and not even acknowledged, while more expensive purchases kept being brought up.
That does not sound like someone ready to seriously take care of the existing issues.
Ageed. I've come to the conclusion this poster is trolling. If not, for myself, I see no reason to pay attention to his/her posts as the OP ignores all advice, and as you've stated, zero acknowledgement of advice and issues, and then moves on and opens another thread, same pattern, and then another.

What is gigwalk and shipt and why do you enjoy them?Gigwalk is a pretty cool app similar to mystery shop, that pays you for super simple jobs like taking photos of products.Shipt is amazing, love it, super flexible, no upfront cost for me, You are basically someone's personal shopperInteresting, I had never heard of either of these. I see the pay but have you worked out an hourly pay for either of these, on average? And factored in gas costs for running around, etc? I know it probably varies but it looks like you've been doing it long enough to provide a pretty fair estimate. I'm not looking for a side gig but it's nice to know these are out there. However, I know some of these side-gigs could end up paying less than minimum wage if you're not careful, so maybe not even worth the effort as opposed to just a part-time job.
Sorry so late answering this. Gigwalk I try to do while I am already out and in the area. I mostly do Walmart and optical offices, because I can actually walk to my Walmart from my house. So gas hasn't been a problem there. Shipt is soooo much better on gas then say uber/Lyft. Because you can pick which store you want to shop and in general the members live close to that particular store. I choose to only work in two smaller towns on purpose for this reason and most of my members live within 2 miles of the store. Most of the time you spend is actually shopping for the groceries. This of coursed will vary from state to state and region to region. I average around $23-$33 per hour depending on how many hours I work. I have a fulltime job and do this on the side. I have a new Kia and it's awesome on gas, I spend so far only $25-$35 per week on gas. The miles on my car are still pretty low in my opinion, I am at 6500 miles and got my car in April. Hope that helps!
