I sent a second GW letter to 1st Financial Bank, USA on Apr. 25. I hadn't received a reply from them, so I thought that they just ignored it. Boy, was I wrong!
I couldn't believe it when I opened the manila envelope. Along with sending me a densely-worded I-don't-think-so letter, they took the time to include about half of my old CC statements to back it up! I guess they're not as bad a company as I thought they were!
I still don't think they get the fact that I'm not disputing anything. I think I'll write a more personal letter directly to the underwriting supervisor in a couple of months. That just made my day.
