How is CapOne with GW?

I have few lates reporting on my CR by CapOne. Did any one try doing GW with CapOne with success? What is the Contact info to send GW to CapOne?

That's good to hear...I just spoke with them last Monday!
 
To the OP...Are you paid up with them, but just have the old red marks on your report?  Or...do you still owe them $?  If you're paid & still have some of your old correspondance, look for the name of your "recovery specialist" & call that person. That's what I did & even tho she was no longer there, I got a pretty good feeling about my conversation.  The guy took my info as what was still being reported & his boss told him to send it to their (can't remember the dept name) with a notation stating a request to delete old baddies & mark paid in full satisfactorily!
 
I'm keeping my fingers crossed & hoping for good news.  They told me I'd get a response in the mail in a couple weeks.  I camp out between this screen & the mailbox Smiley Wink

The key to GWs with any entity is persistence. Sometimes--often, in fact!--you just have to make a polite but firm pest of yourself.

Thanks BungalowMo, I made a settlement and paid on the accounts. One is to CA that bought the account and other is to a CA that represents CapOne.  Do you think they will consider removing my lates and negative information? Just last month they approved me a Biz Card with $5K CL and I am in good standing with my new account. What is the number you called to talk to them? Could you please give me the number so I can call them and request them to remove the negative information. It will give a good boost to my account.

concorduser...here's the # I called- 1.800.846.9966  When you get the electronic lady, press option 2.  (I pressed 1 cuz I knew the extension I wanted) You'll be connected to the next available bla bla. 
 
*Be sure to have this information ready: Your old acct #, all 3 CR's & the information they are reporting.  Be ready to mention how helpful they were in assisting you with your payment plan, etc.  They should give you the same type of response I'd gotten....IF it wasn't really recent that you'd settled.
