How long does late payment affect your score heavily ?

I have never been late on credit cards, but have been late several times on my student loan.

Right now all my accounts are on time.

 

How long until those late payments will weight less on my credit score ?

After what time period is a late payment not affecting as much ?

30-60 day lates impact the most the first 2 years, anything 90+ the entire time they are on file, lessening as they age in time.

my EQ is 700 missed payments from Cap 1 in 2012, 2 30days, 1 60 days, 3 90 days. TU 649 EX 644 no missed payments, 2 collections. seems like the collections affects more than the missed payments
