How often do you pull your own credit when rebuilding?

With sites that will let you pull your credit on a daily basis out there, how often when rebuilding do you review your credit? Do you use a paid service or just a free one initially?

Re: How often do you pull your own credit when rebuilding?

For reports I use the Experian service through USAA.  The scores are FAKO and I mostly ignore them but I pay for the unlimited pulls to be able to check when things have reported.  I'm not pulling as frequently and when the current year at a discount for unlimited pulls passes I may let it drop back.

For scores I have scorewatch through NFCU, it gives me an updated EQ FICO score if my score changes.  I now get a monthly TU FICO score through my Walmart Discover Card.

I do plan to buy EQ and TU score reports January 1 for a baseline.

Re: How often do you pull your own credit when rebuilding?

If I have DV or GW letters outstanding, I check EX/TU daily :-)   I have unlimited pulls directly thru EX and TU.

I also have SW here on myFico for EQ as well as quarterly TU for the score.

I also have Credit Karma since it's free...it has actually given me updates before TU does...of course the score is junk but that's fine.

Re: How often do you pull your own credit when rebuilding?

From the NFCU Home Page select "Member Specials and News" from the upper right.  They offer several Equifax services including Scorewatch, which I believe is the same as offered by MyFICO.  There's a significant member discount, if you have any NFCU product it means you're a member so it shouldn't ne a problem to use it.
