Hi! I’m about to settle a number of CLOSED accounts (charge-offs) with original creditors who still own the debt. (And eventually with collection agencies that own other debt/accounts.). What’s the best way to pay them quickly? I don’t want to mail payment (risk of loss in the mail and slower to receive) but also don’t want to give them my bank card info. Any suggestions?
What about one of those prepaid debit cards? You can just put the money on there, give them THAT info, and not have to worry about giving out bank info or credit card info.
