This is incorrect. EQ DOES sell their FICO. It is EX that stopped selling their FICO to consumers. And yes, when you get your free report from annualcreditreport.com, they will offer you your EQ FICO for $7.00.
That number they put with it is a FAKO. Equifax does supply a FICO score, the same one that's sold here, but you have to look for it on their site. EX stopped the ability to buy a FICO score in 2009.
Ok, so I have my current TransUnion report and FICO score, via this site. My score is 606. Can I rely upon this as accurate?
I'm sorry...what's the 98 mean? (Just when I thought I was learning all the lingo... )
It's the version of score. There are several. 04, 98, FICO Auto-enhanced, etc.
GOTCHA! (Lemme go cover these blond roots right quick!) lol
You'll notice I took the myFICO fitness challenge, with what I assume to be FICO scores for all three CBs. EQ and EX scores were taken from the initial credit report my realtor pulled last fall, when we asked her to find out where we stand. Am I correct that those two are true FICO scores too? We paid $30 to the realtor for the pull.
Yes, if it was a lender pull they are the real deal.
Looks like I'm all set then! Ready to rock and roll!
