Hello All,
I wanted to start my own thread to document my rebuild journey. Also just to keep all my credit changes and updates organized in one spot. I'll start giving a quick recap....
Sep. 2013 - Filed for Chapter 13 Bankruptcy with a 5 year repayment plan (During this time I paid off two vehicles)
Oct. 2018 - Bankruptcy was Discharged (The FUN begins) CK scores in the high 500's
- Became an Authorized User on Chase Amazon Prime $8,300 sl, new account
- Applied and Approved for Capital One Platinum $3,000 sl
Nov. 2018 - Purchased 2018 Ford 150 at 5.11% with PNC Bank
Dec. 2018 - Applied and Approved for Ollo Rewards Card $500 sl
Feb. 2019 - I joined this Forum and checked my FICO scores (See Siggy)
- Applied and Approved for Discover It Cashback $2,500 sl
Mar. 2019 - Applied and Approved for Amex Gold with $3,000 Pay over time
Tonight, I just PC'd my Capital One Platinum to the Quicksilver. So that's where I'm at currently. I feel I've set a good foundation to work with. My Cap1 and Ollo cards should be receiving auto CLI here in the next couple months so I'll update when that happens. My main focus now is to garden for a while. Hit the minimum spend for the SUB on the Amex Gold and after that take advantage of the first year cashback match on the Discover. See you next Update.....
Excellent. Thats how you do it. How long ago did you get your Cap1 card?

I got the Cap 1 about 4.5 months ago. I'm one payment away from the auto CLI.
Great job!!! Stick to your plan and those scores will continue to rise.

You can ask now for a SP CLI before Credit Steps kicks in. Good Luck!

So Cap 1 said no go on the CLI, said my use of credit was too low. Kinda suprised I ran up over $1000 last month, however I PIF before the statement cut. Oh well, I'll be getting that auto CLI next month. Just hope it'll be more than the $500 they say it will be.
