I woke up this morning to see my Experian FICO score jumped 5 points. I am now at 672. I have officially crossed over the line into the FICO "good" score category. When I began rebuilding in the summer of 2018, I was in the "poor" category. My mortgage and other FICO scores are already higher, but I've been waiting for the FICO 8. I won't pull my 3-bureau report until later in the month. Equifax should do the same and cross the threshold. TU will still be lagging.
Mentally, this was so important to me. Once, I get all three over 670, then the next mental goal is to hit 700 on all three.
It's reflecting in prequal offers. Only a few weeks ago Amex's Blue Cash Everyday card popped up for the first time. Today, when checking what I prequalified for, it added another credit card: The Cash Magnet card. I've prequalified for the Gold card before. I'm in the garden, but, still, to now have two Amex credit card offers when checking lets me know my rebuild is finally showing results.
