I thought I saw it here somewhere, but i've been searching for an hour and cannot find it. I am looking at my DH's Credit Report. There is a negative on there from First Premier in the amount of $568. There are also TWO from Arrow on there that show that same amount as the *High Balance*. I'm sure all three of these are the same thing, so we're going to go ahead and pay Arrow, but will that delete the First Premier entry..or actually show it as being paid, not delete it (unless we try PFD)..should the First Premier even be on there since they've given it over to Arrow? How should we get First Premier to remove that? Or can we?

No Brownee!  Do not pay them!  Arrow has been in an awful lot of trouble these days and they have been caving on DV's.  Go ahead an DV them and I bet my last chicken finger they delete from the credit bureaus.

I wish I had luck with Arrow and my Dv's.   I'm on my second round of DV's with Arrow right now, and i've got them on multiple violations.  Hopefully my 2nd DV letter will work in my favor.  If not i'll have file complaints to AG, BBB and FTC.

Hi there, have FP and Arrow as well...
Stef:

You suggest to first call FP to see if they still own debt so PFD?
OR...DV Arrow first?

Bit confused on order...Thank you!

You can call FP first and find out if they still own it and see if you can work with them. If they own it and you can do a PFD, then get them to also pull it away from Arrow. They can do this if they want to, but you will need to ask them.

I would handle the CA after I found out the status with the OC. Always best to work with the OC first. If they send you to the CA since it has been sold then you will then of course need to send out your DV to Arrow. (Keep in mind your SOL and if you are able to pay or defend should you need to do so if still within your SOL)

Re: I can't find the answer to this question...

does any one have First premier phone number that is not an automatic man screaming for your credit card number? I don't have all my numbers and need to talk to a REAL person, preferably one that doesn't scream at me....

Re: I can't find the answer to this question...

DW was going through this EXACT thing, only she didn't own the debt. In fact, she only activated the card -- saw all the associated fees and cancelled. But they still reported the delinquency, apparently. I just fired off a CMRRR DV to FP's President and a few weeks later DW received a letter back from the President stating it was their error and they were going to remove the information.

I have to check the CBRs this month to see if everything is A-Okay, but yeah try DVing FP and Arrow at the same time and you should get the results that you're looking for.
