I started building my credit in September 2019.
My scores were low 500. Like 515ish.
After I defaulted on my 1st CC in 2007, I never paid attention to my credit. I swore off using credit cards.
Today my experian account updated all of my credit scores.
Experian 755
Equifax 760
Transunion 759
They'll probably drop a little bit because I have applied for 3 new CCs.
My initial goals were to establish a good payment history, pay off all derogatory accounts, to improve scores to 700+, and to get an unsecured CC.
I started from the bottom with Self Loan & CC. I'm excited to see how much further I can get my scores up!
Congrats!
Great job rebuilding !!
Congrats! let those 3 cards age a bit and the smoke clears from the hits. Then 1 by 1 spread out the apps. You can keep growing. Great Job!
Thanks everyone!
I honestly thought it would have taken another year or so to get above 700.
@FireMedic1 I'm not planning on applying for anything else for a while!
Ive been thinking about opening a shared savings loan at NFCU just to keep adding some type of installment credit to my mix.
Congrats my friend. Job well done.

Perfect. You'll see a point gain once you do the SSL technique. Nowhere to go but up now!!!!!
Congratulations! That's major! Any advice for the people still in the rebuilding stage?
Nice! Congrats on your rebuild!
